Place the saw on a flat table or the workbench. If the chain has been removed from its bar, you have to use the right tools so you can remove the housing, the chain, and the bar.
But if your chain is new, find out its sharp edge to ensure that it won’t cut you. Be careful about the old one who can stick or rusted together, then loosen it with enough lubricating oil. And try to avoid scattering the oil on the floor to avoid accidents.

Step 2: Figure out the Two opposite Loops

After taking a good preparation, now you have to find out the two opposite loops in the chain. Place each of the hands on the loop to allow it to hang down using these two points. Meanwhile, it will help to unravel the chain by lessening the complexity of the tangle.

Step 3: Making both Loops Bigger

In this stage, you can assume the full extent of the tangle. Now try to find out the possible way to make those loops bigger till it is good enough to make it in one single loop. Ensure that your hands are in the two most opposite loops. You can use a slack on the chain.
