Step 1: Setting the File

3.       Mark your first tooth with the help of a permanent marker.
4.       Carefully select a round file according to the diameter as the chainsaw's teeth.
5.       Set the file in the notch on the front of the cutter.
6.       Try to Use a file holder to hold the file at the same angle.

Step 2: Sharpening the Cutters

To sharpen the cutter, slide the file across its face. Then told the file as it place flat or level on the top of the chain. You should file the cuter 4 to 10 times it is sharp enough. Now sharpen every second tooth just from the starting point.

 Rotate the saw 180 degrees. Try to use the same motion and chainsaw sharpening tools.

Step 3: Filing the Rakers

Put a depth gauge over the saw’s chain. Be careful if any part of the raker remains the top of the depth gauge. Apply a flat mill bastard file for level up the raker. Ensure that form that you file every other raker at the same height. Then loosen the chain as well as release the chainsaw. Refill the oil reservoir in your chainsaw.

·         Always wear protective gloves when sharpening a chainsaw or cutting attachment.
·         Remember Chainsaw teeth are quite sharp and will cause injury.

Step 1: Make the Necessary Preparations

Step 2: Figure out the Two opposite Loops

After taking a good preparation, now you have to find out the two opposite loops in the chain. Place each of the hands on the loop to allow it to hang down using these two points. Meanwhile, it will help to unravel the chain by lessening the complexity of the tangle.

Step 3: Making both Loops Bigger

In this stage, you can assume the full extent of the tangle. Now try to find out the possible way to make those loops bigger till it is good enough to make it in one single loop. Ensure that your hands are in the two most opposite loops. You can use a slack on the chain.

Step 4: Untangling the Chain

Step 5: Spreading Them Apart
